As an integral player with the Technology Solutions team, your role will include supporting the infrastructure, automating and enhancing existing processes, providing quality solutions, and ensuring a healthy infrastructure through monitoring and reporting.Heres how a Technology Analyst for our Edmonton NAHQ office contributes to our team:Responsibilities

  • Designs, provisions, monitors and maintains mission-critical cloud infrastructure.
  • Identifies and leverages cloud technologies, platforms and associated methods to solve business and technical challenges.
  • Remediates escalations from customers, vendors, and other Business Technology teams.
  • Provides technical leadership for projects and complete associated activities to meet team, department, and corporate objectives.
  • Works closely with our Security and Compliance team to ensure our solutions are aligned with modern security best practices and standards.
  • Assists in the development of cost optimization policies and guidelines for the Cloud resources.
  • Collaborates with the team to research, POC, and recommend new trending technologies, enhancements, and best practices.
  • Develops and maintains strong, customer-focused relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Proactively provides technical guidance and mentors peers, and team members.
  • Values, and models the solution provider and profitability culture.
  • Ensures adherence to the Incident, Problem and Change Management process.
Qualifications
  • Postsecondary degree or diploma in computer technology or a related discipline and 6-8 years of progressive experience in a related field.
  • Enterprise-level working experience with:
  • Microsoft Azure Cloud technologies including IaaS, SaaS, PaaS
  • Windows Server Infrastructure and Architecture
  • Microsoft 365 products and services such as Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Power Platform
  • Configuration management and automation tools such as PowerShell, Azure Automation, ARM templates, Azure DevOps and DSC.
  • Strong understanding of modern cybersecurity framework and best practices.
  • Capable of solving complex problems by using a logical, systematic, and sequential approach.
  • Aptitude and willingness to learn new technologies and solutions.
  • Proven ability to deliver projects, piloting new technology following an agile methodology.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others on a team, and to establish and maintain effective business relationships.
  • Organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize own work with a high degree of consistency.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in rapidly changing environments or uncertain conditions.
  • Ability to present technical material to peers and managers clearly and concisely using effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong influential and strategic-thinking skills.
