Job Description

Right at Home Canada Fraser Valley is part of an international family of over 550 Care Offices around the globe. We provide a full suite of both non-medical and medical care, products and services to older adults and disabled adults who want to continue to live independently, wherever home is for them.Right at Home In-Home Health is currently seeking a Care Coordinator/HCA to become part of our team in Abbotsford. This is a part time office position with additional hours providing client care (if applicable) when needed. Desired Attributes:· Punctual, Reliable, accountable and dependable· Productive and efficient· Attention to detail· Self-directed/proactive Duties for Care Coordinator:· Answer telephone; take inquiries or messages utilizing exceptional telephone technique.· Receive and respond to referrals and service inquiries on the programs offered by this company schedule care consultations· Schedule and coordinate day to day activities of the staff· Assist with onboarding staff and input documentation in scheduling software· Ensure all client documentation are input into the scheduling software· Assist with billing processing, including client invoices and payroll· Maintain documentation of work record in scheduling software and ensure current and complete personnel records for all staff.· Responds to scheduling and client care urgencies · Communicate continually with associates and clients to evaluate service.· Communicate client and staff concerns or problems with team as appropriate· Respond promptly and courteously to all clients calls.· Work as a Care Provider in case of staffing emergency (if applicable)· Perform After-Hours on-call coordinator duties as needed· Maintenance of office and PPE suppliesQualifications· Grade 12 required, plus successful completion of a certificate or diploma in a related field from a college · Minimum of two years recent related experience.· Health Care Aide or MOA certificate would be an asset

  • Proficiency with computers, learning new software (client database and scheduling) and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
