Job Description

Clarington Orthodontics is looking for a certified & professional Level II Dental Assistant. This role will focus on providing our patients treatment by assisting the orthodontists and hygienists while also performing Office Administration duties as needed.At Clarington Orthodontics we strive to produce incredible smiles for each of our patients, in a warm and caring environment. We are honored by those who come to us for their smiles and do not take that responsibility lightly.Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Preparing Dental clinic, sterilizing instruments and ensuring clinic is ready for treatment
  • Assisting orthodontists and hygienists during procedures
  • Taking digital radiographs and intra-oral scans
  • Taking impressions for appliances and making Essix retainers
  • Assist with dental charting, updating and maintaining dental records
  • Helping with general administrative / clinic duties as need
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Responding to email/voicemail messages
  • Other day-to-day duties as required
  • 20-28 hours per week
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Certified level II dental assistant
  • Orthodontic experience preferred
  • Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enthusiastic, motivated and cheerful team player
  • Organizational skills, general office knowledge and computer proficiency

  • Dental Assisting: 1 year (preferred)
