Job Description

Lead Hand/ForemanHere at Glenabbey Landscaping we are a family owned and operated Company serving the Durham region. We are a growing and are currently looking for honest and hardworking men/woman to join our landscaping construction team, with positions from (Foreman), (Lead Hand) and (Labourer). As a part of a hardscape construction team, you will be working on a variety of projects on a variety of scales. Projects such as: patios, walkways, retaining walls, garden walls, steps, etc, This is just a brief insight to the list of services we provide and offer.Hardscaping Duties

  • Installation of interlocking pavers for driveways, walkways and patios.
  • Constructing of retaining walls.
  • Leading a team throughout a project.
  • Managing and organizing a job site.
  • Responsible for projects from start to finish.
Skills and Requirements
  • Must have a valid Class G Driver’s License.
  • 2 plus years of landscape construction experience preferred.
  • Ability to run mini excavators and skid steer.
  • Knowledge understanding of basic hardscape equipment.
  • Detail oriented, self motivated and able to work individually or in a team setting.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprint drawings.
  • Own transportation to and from site and or yard.
