This position will work with Summit Fuel Services which is an affiliated company of WWFC, and we have an opportunity for a Ramp Operator.RAMP OPERATORPosition SummaryThe Ramp Operator is accountable to the Line Crew and Fueller Supervisor and performs both Line Crew and Fueller activities. The Ramp Operator is responsible for providing superior service in care and handling of our fleet, fuel trucks and building, from maneuvering aircraft on ramp, to assisting the pilot/crew in assuring their service needs are met timely and efficiently through communication with dispatch, fuel, and maintenance. Additionally, The Ramp Operator ensures our physical property is visually appealing and comfortable to our customers.Key Responsibilities: · Maneuvering aircraft of ramp as required by toe bar or tug· Securing the aircraft· Checking/refills fluid levels – fuel & oil· Maintains equipment (trucks, tugs, golf cart,)· Aircraft washing, waxing, grooming, and interior cleaning· Mobile fueling or defueling· Operates ground support equipment (de-icing, pre-heater, booster)· Receive, store, transfer, and dispense petroleum fuel products· Operate motorized fueling vehicles (fuel tank trucks, standard and automatic transmissions)· Fuel aircraft per flight crew/flight plan requirements· Inspect fueling equipment and vehicles· Collects and disposes of the buildings recycling daily· Sweeping and general cleaning of the hangers· Supports team by maximizing the utilization of WWFC aircraft and enhancing the positive customer experience· Maintains constant communication with between Line Crew, Fuel and Dispatch (Apron 1 and 2) to provide best resources to customers when issues arise with availability· Demonstrates the Company mission, vision and values statement, policies and current standard business practices.· Performs other duties as required.A copy of the full job description will be provided during the interview stage.Requirements: · Post-Secondary preferred· Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook· Excellent organization, communication, multitasking and time management skills· Strong leadership skills, and a willingness to teach others· Ability to pay attention to details and ensure accuracy of work· Knowledge of aviation an asset (general aviation and flight training)· Team player in a fast-paced environment· Ability to make decisions and implement them in a safe, efficient manner· Follow oral and written directions; plan and complete assigned duties on a regular schedule; and maintain good working relationships with othersWe are committed to diversity and inclusion, and thank all applicants in advance; however, we will be corresponding only with those selected for an interview.
