Job Description

CE Transportation Solutions is currently seeking an experienced fleet manager based out of our Burlington Location.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Fleet manager will be responsible for executing and overseeing the daily operations such as:

  • Overseeing the maintenance of all the trucks and trailers as per company PM policy.
  • Ensuring compliance with all federal and provincial regulations.
  • Updating company policies by MTO Regulations as needed.
  • Enforce company policies with drivers.
  • Work with the HR department to take disciplinary actions when policies are violated.
  • Monitor and review ELD compliance and accuracy.
  • Detect and correct any driver related ELD issues.
  • Manage and supervise all trucks and trailers and have all related documents, authorities, permits, and plates updated in the document binder.
  • Manage and keep track of all PM, Inspection & Repair status of equipment.
  • Manage and monitor Accidents, related claims, disputing violations & tickets.
  • Coordinate repairs with mechanics and ensure costs are minimized.

The Ideal Candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. Must be a Team player and have effective, efficient & professional communication leadership skills. Must be available after hours or on weekends for the occasional emergency. Previous holding of a commercial driving license is an asset.Quick Apply
