  • Maintains the cleanliness of the change rooms, washrooms, production floor as well as the office area
  • Adheres to cleaning procedures in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices Standards and Health and Safety guidelines
  • Collects garbage, recyclable materials and food waste from production area and outside of the building and disposes in appropriate compactors or containers
  • Assists in the cleaning of any major spills of liquid or dry product as needed
  • Locks out, dismantles, cleans and sanitizes production machines as required and in accordance with master sanitation schedule and standard operating procedures
  • Performs specialized cleaning procedures in accordance with master sanitation schedule
    Job Requirements:
    • Morning/Afternoon Shift, preferable hours for this position 10:00am-6:00pm
    • Previous experience in sanitation, industrial preferred
    • Ability to work weekends
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when needed Good communication skills, interpersonal skills and must be able to work in a team environment
    • Ability to follow directions from Supervisory Staff
