Job Description

Job Title: Guard Contractor-Night ShiftPosition Description:Our company will reactive a sweet gas plant nearby Drayton Valley area. We are looking for a qualified security guard to protect the site safety, especially the equipment, during the night from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am.Responsibility:

  • Responsible for plant access control at vehicle gate
  • Maintain the site security to protect the equipment safety during the night shift
  • Report the suspicious incidents to the management
  • Respond to or conduct the requirements by the supervisor
  • Keep positive attitude and professional working relationship with team members
  • Investigate the potential safety risk
  • Document the unusual occurrences in details
  • Complete the incident report and necessary forms.
Basic Requirement:
  • Availability to work night shifts
  • Must speak, read and write in English Fluently
  • Good communication skills
  • Safety certifications i.e. H2S, First Aid
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Strong observational and Reporting Skills
  • React appropriately by using good judgment
  • Physically capable to work long periods and be able to work outside regardless of weather conditions.
