As the Superintendent you will schedule, coordinate, and supervise craft employee activity, within the applicable discipline on multiple projects. Responsible for overall site leadership; including coaching and mentoring of employees while effectively managing the project, sub-trades and client demands.Reporting to the Turnaround Manager, you will bring a minimum of 10 years’ experience on an industrial or construction site. At least 5-7 years of this experience in a supervisory/leadership roleMust have good knowledge/experience with conveyor maintenance and belt splicing.You will be based out of Fort McMurray, AB. This is a position for a 12-14 month project basis.What you'll be doing:Provide supervision and leadership to ClearWater trade employees, including site supervision.Comply with ClearWater/Client policies, guidelines and procedures.Liaise between Client and ClearWater Management.Prepare, monitor and manage project schedule.Estimate and manage project labor requirements.Coordinate subcontractor work and ensure details are completed as defined in scopes of work.Establish, implement and oversee site safety plans and quality control measures, including site inspections.We'd love to hear from you if you:Alberta Journey Certificate or other provincial equivalent or registered Apprentice with a recognized provincial training authority.Have good knowledge/experience with conveyors and belt splicing.Strong leadership kills, ability to lead by example.Mechanical aptitude.Ability to read and understand complex instructions.Displays a safe and productive work ethic.Handles the administrative duties of position, including completion of required documents.Read and interpret drawings.What We Offer:Competitive compensationOther Details:This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of a drug and alcohol testing.Why ClearWater:We are the clear choice for rewarding opportunities and challenging careers.
