Job Description

The ideal candidate is someone who is always learning and actively seeks candid feedback, all critical components of being part of a winning team.The base salary for this role is: $80,000-$130,000What you’ll do:

  • Strategic Vision and Feature Prioritization: Collaborate to develop and execute visionary strategies, balancing innovative ideas with practical execution in the Canadian market. Prioritize features considering business ROI and technical dependencies, ensuring fast-paced progression.
  • Lifecycle Management and Communication: Oversee the product management lifecycle from inception to deployment, navigating uncertainty with a problem-solving attitude. Communicate product roadmaps, benefits, and results effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Research, UX/UI Collaboration, and Agile Story Development: Engage in research and critical analysis for new features, partner with UX/UI teams for exceptional user experiences, and assist in crafting agile user stories, moving swiftly from concept to execution.
  • Feature Discussion and Coordination for Timely Delivery: Manage feature discussion meetings, focusing on rapid progression and feedback handling. Work closely with technical leads to ensure the speedy delivery of features, embodying our focus on velocity.
  • Operational Documentation and Marketing Strategy Support: Provide comprehensive documentation for effective staff training, and play a key role in promoting key product features in line with our marketing strategy.
  • Stakeholder Mediation and Data-Driven Decision Making: Balance the needs of internal and external stakeholders with a focus on impactful feature development. Implement a data-driven approach in decision-making processes to maintain precision.
What you’ll need:
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in Product Management within a technology firm, with a preference for experience in Fintech. Agile methodology experience is essential.
  • Strategic Development Skills: Demonstrated success in developing software products that align with strategic vision and goals.
  • Team Coordination: Experience coordinating with diverse development teams and working seamlessly with various business teams.
  • Strategic and Analytical Skills: Strong strategic thinking, planning, and organizational abilities. A passion for data analysis and translating it into effective product strategies.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
  • A customer obsessed approach to building product, as an active user of the products you build, you’ll have empathy for the customer by putting yourself in their shoes.
  • Detail-Oriented: Focus on accuracy and delivering results with a sense of urgency.
  • Adventurous Spirit: Welcoming uncertainty and approaching challenges with enthusiasm.
