Job Description

Job SummaryDuties include:

  • Pick up and delivery of products at a variety of locations across Hamilton, Niagara, KW and GTA using flat bed and pick up trucks (mostly pick up trucks with heavy truck approx 10-20% of the time)
  • Ensuring all documentation and logbooks are complete and accurate
  • Loading and unloading truck safely
  • Operate a forklift
  • On a daily basis ensure inspections are completed prior to route
  • Assist with shipping and receiving orders when not driving
Required Education, Skills and QualificationsRequirements:
  • Must be capable of lifting/carrying 50+lbs and offloading vehicle.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Valid DZ licence with clean CVOR record is mandatory.
  • Recent 2 year "Experience Letter" is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of Hamilton, Niagara, KW and Mississauga region beneficial.
  • Ideal candidate will have previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Must be able to complete required documentation including shipment and inspection forms

The position is full time, permanent, straight days with occasional overtime. Duties are primarily local driving, but may involve some Shipping and Receiving as well.
