The Environmental Educator develops, delivers, and updates curriculum-based age and grade appropriate environmental programs to students in the elementary and secondary level, and maintains resources used in the delivery of such programs.EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: Successful completion of a two-year community college diploma in related programs such as Environmental Technician, Fish and Wildlife Technician or Parks and Forest Recreations and a minimum of two years related experience, involving the instruction of children in an outdoor setting is required.The recruitment process requires a criminal background check for work with vulnerable persons.Please note it is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that the application is received by Human Resources on or before the deadline date.If you were educated outside of Canada, you must have your certificates and/or diplomas or degrees assessed against Canadian education standards.
