Job Title: PlumberLocation: Middle Stewiacke, NSCompensation: $20 - $35/hour, paid bi-weeklyD&T Heating & Plumbing Ltd. is a family owned and operated business based in Middle Stewiacke, NS that has been servicing Truro and the surrounding area for 25 years. We are seeking a full-time journeyperson Plumber to join our team.Key Responsibilities: · Installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing systems, including well pumps, piping, fixtures, etc.· Reading plans, blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of plumbing systems (water supply and DWV)· Ensuring all work performed meets municipal, provincial and federal codes· Professionalism and strong dedication to customer service· Attention to detail – at D&T we strive for both functionality and aesthetics in our work· Operating sewer inspection camera & sewer jetting machines· Working independently and as part of a team as required· Having and maintaining your own tools and safety bootsPreferred Experience: · Oil Heat Systems Technician certification· Cutting and threading pipe· Familiarity with hydronic heating systemsQualifications: · Trade Certification as a Plumber in Nova Scotia· Valid Class 5 Driver’s LicenseHours: · Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with alternating weekends on call.· Occasional overtime will be required.Benefits: · 100% employer paid health care program· Company mobile phone providedJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $20.00-$35.00 per hourBenefits:
