Auto req ID: 276585BRJob DescriptionAre you someone who……..Is driven to achieve top results Likes to take a direct, hands-on approach to problem solving Thrives in a challenging & fast-paced environment………PepsiCo has the right opportunity for you!The Foodservice Sales Representative - Foods (Mississauga, Oakville, Burlington Territory) contributes to the success of the PepsiCo Canada by maximizing business growth through the acquisition of new customers and maintenance of existing customer in various channels such as Restaurants, Recreational, Workplace, and Vending.Key Responsibilities include:

  • Achieving foodservice sales volume, revenue, and profitability goals for the assigned territory by providing superior customer service
  • Growing base business through effective selling and execution of monthly business priorities
  • Prospecting and acquiring new foodservice accounts using customized proposals
  • Converting local and national business accounts ensuring marketing equipment and product placement
  • Effectively collaborating cross-functionally with local Field Sales team to ensure business objectives are met
  • Activating local marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance
  • Identifying and aligning resources required to support account execution
  • Preparing account and equipment profiles and service contracts
  • Ensuring Merchandising standards are executed in all accounts
  • Monitoring and reporting on competitive activity
Qualifications/RequirementsRequired Experience, Skills and Abilities:
  • 2-3 Years of relevant work experience OR equivalent mix of education and experience
  • Business Degree or diploma required
  • 1-2 years of fact-based direct selling experience preferred
  • Food Service or Consumer Products experience preferred
  • Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency: Microsoft Suite
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills including the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats and excellent presentation skills
  • Must possess a valid drivers license and own vehicle
  • Bilingualism (English/French) considered an asset
