Job Description

Moreover, the success of COGIR Immobilier is based on the good teamwork between the various departments and on all the people who have joined the company for more than 25 yearsPOSITION DESCRIPTION:La Maison Hospitalière de St-Joseph hosts the nuns who, in the past, worked at the Hôtel-Dieu.We are currently looking for a day or evening auxiliary nurse 7/15, 1 weekend out of two talented and concerned about the health of the residents to fill our beautiful team. .ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administer medication according to safety principles and the code of ethics
  • Collaborate in maintaining a bond of trust with the families or relatives of residents as well as with the various stakeholders (CLSC, CSSS, etc.)
  • Contribute to the adjustment of the residents intervention plan through their observations
  • Distribute the medication in the form of a blister cup and provide some invasive care, as needed and with the required mandatory training
  • Ensure good communication as well as medical follow-ups with the actors concerned
  • Promote and advocate proactive care for residents
  • Record notes in the residents files in accordance with the requirements of the Ordre des Infirmiers et Infirmières auxiliaires du Québec (OIIAQ) and keep them rigorously updated
  • Respond to all emergency situations
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • PDSB training
  • Up-to-date CPR / AED general first aid training
  • Member in good standing of the OIIAQ
