Job Description

  • Provide support over the phone or in person to new and existing advisors
  • Provide support and technical training on various sales platforms and back office systems
  • Identify advisors with growth potential and refer them to the Sales Managers
  • Provide advisor advocacy activities including basic inquiries to carrier partners
  • Ensure successful/efficient onboarding of new advisors including orientation to FHG processes, procedures, key contacts etc.
  • Support educational events as required
  • Facilitate training of their respective advisors so they are able to run/produce their own illustrations and/or quotes
  • Share accountability for the management of advisor debt
  • Coordinate with branch staff to log and issue CE Credits for advisors, and follow-up with carrier as required with back up/support from Event Marketing
What qualifications are required
  • Hold or is working toward a financial services designation, such as CFP, CLU or CHS is an asset
  • LLQP and Mutual Funds license is an asset
  • College Diploma, University degree, or equivalent experience
  • Bilingual in English and French is an asset

What should your experience look like
  • 2 years customer service or inside sales experience
  • Insurance and investments sales and basic product knowledge/experience
  • Knowledgeable in carrier products and sales technology including back office technologies – able to deliver advisor training
  • Proven experience with Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
