Beaver Tree Service NiagaraPositions: Various career opportunities: ground support, experienced climbers, Lead handLocation: Niagara RegionDescription/Summary: Beaver Tree Service is looking to hire for multiple positions for our operations in the beautiful Niagara Region, Ontario. Our head office and yard is located in Niagara Falls and we service the entire Region from Fort Erie to Stoney Creek. There are full time and part time opportunities available.We offer:

Beaver Tree Service is an established company of Arborists striving to provide excellent Arboriculture services to customers throughout the Region.Current Career Opportunities1) Urban Forestry Technician (ground support)2) Certified Arborist Tree Climber3) Lead handQualifications:1) Urban Forest Technician (ground support)
  • Basic understanding of tree care operations and hazards
  • Chipper and chainsaw license/certification
  • Tree ID skills, and understanding of advanced rigging systems
  • Valid DZ license is preferred
2) Certified Arborist Tree Climber:
  • 2 years minimum production tree climbing experience
  • Proficient in pruning and removals of trees of all sizes and types
  • Professional and safety oriented, leadership and team skills required
  • DZ license, EUSA training and experience working with cranes is preferred.
3) Lead hand:
  • DZ license with a minimum 5 years Urban Forestry Operations.
  • 444A and 444B certifications as Utility and Certified Arborist.
  • Documented experience as a proven leader in similar work environment.
  • Confident, safe, and efficient in all aspects of tree removal and pruning operations including; working in proximity to hydro and utilizing cranes and aerial lifts where required.
  • Experience in arborist reports and consulting, tree risk assessment is an asset.
Education/Assets/Other:
  • Diploma in Arboriculture or Urban Forestry
  • Book 7 training and understanding
  • First aid and fall arrest;
  • Chainsaw, wood chipper, stumper, aerial lift certification
  • Working knowledge of modern arboriculture climbing & rigging techniques.
  • Electrical safety and awareness and understanding
  • Chainsaw sharpening and maintenance, wood chipper and stump grinder maintenance
  • ISA certifications (Tree Worker, Arborist, TRAQ, etc.)
Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $24.00-$45.00 per hourAdditional pay:
  • Bonus pay
