BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGERThe ideal candidate must have a vehicle to travel to Niagara Region and other business locations across Ontario.Meira Care | Your Virtual Care Clinic™ is an online virtual medical platform enabling patients across Ontario to conveniently connect with healthcare providers by phone, video call or secure messaging 7-days a week to discuss any health concern.We provide primary care and specialty consultation services via our secure application. Our healthcare team is composed of Family Physicians, Internists, Pediatricians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants and Registered Nurses who work collaboratively to streamline the patient experience and optimize the delivery of care.Meira Care is seeking a highly motivated and driven individual who wishes to be a part of a dynamic and fast-growing organization. The ideal candidate must be a collaborative team player focused on contributing to organizational objectives.Business Development Manager Job SummaryYou will prospect new business by advertising, cold calling, networking, or other methods of producing interest from potential partners. Then you will design persuasive approaches and proposals to convert those prospects into strategic partners. By presenting new solutions and services to our partners, you will develop and maintain existing accounts.Business Development Manager Job Responsibilities

  • Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships.
  • Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.
  • Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners.
  • Discovers and explores business opportunities and viable income streams.
  • Examines risks and potentials for the business opportunities.
  • Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with business operations.
  • Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
  • Enhances organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
  • Schedule and attend community-related conferences and meetings to market Meira Care
Business Development Manager Qualifications & Skills:
  • Ability to initiate, anticipate and adapt to emerging opportunities
  • Excellent prospecting and closing skills
  • Motivation for sales
  • Ability to convey ideas to a range of audiences and build relationships
  • Highly detailed oriented
  • Ability to travel to Niagara Region and other businesses across Ontario
  • Meet deadlines on a continual basis
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal, listening) and ability to present ideas clearly and effectively
  • The ability to self-motivate and motivate a team
  • Experience working to and exceeding targets
  • Use of Microsoft™ suite of software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook™
  • Familiarity with Google™ tools (including calendars, document sharing)
