Full TimeSalariedApplication Deadline: May 20, 2022Does working in a fast paced dynamic department at one of Canada’s premiere live entertainment destinations intrigue youThis role is responsible for assisting in the facilitation and execution of all non-technical contractual items pertaining to event performances at the Avalon Theater and our new Entertainment Centre.If you would like to be on a team of Great People delivering great service, we may have just the opportunity for you!The job involves:Tracking and reporting the status of document templates for team members.Assisting the Entertainment Programs Department with a variety of special projects.Act as an ambassador on behalf of Niagara Casinos to promote the property/venue in the entertainment industry.Delegating and negotiating with other departments and outside vendors.Prepare and issue entertainer orientation packages.Enforce terms of contract governing performance prior to monetary settlement with responsible artist designate.Prepare profit & loss reports and critical analysis of each performance.Accurately track all programs expenses associated with a particular act.Responsible for performing administrative duties such as composing and generating correspondence, attend meetings and prepare minutes.Working safely, and in compliance with OH&S policies and legislationThorough knowledge of all activities and promotions occurring at our casino propertiesFlexibility to support a 24/7 operationThe ideal candidate has:College Diploma or equivalent work related experience.Minimum 1- 3 years progressive experience in the field of live entertainment/special events in a casino environment.Advanced computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Word, Outlook and Stratton Warren).Strong organizational and time management skills.Excellent judgment and ability to work in a high-pressure environment as well as demonstrated attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsNiagara Casinos is committed to creating an accessible and inclusive environment by providing equal opportunity to candidates of all abilities.
