We are currently searching for a Rooms Controller who is a team orientated individual with strong analytical skills and is technically savvy. Reporting to the Front Office Manager of the Marriott on the Falls, responsibilities include but are not limited to:Assisting in managing the daily room inventory, room blocks and reservations to maximum room revenue and efficiencies based on arrivals and departures patterns and special requests.Reviewing status of arrivals, departures, and changes and pre-blocked Marriott Bonvoy Elite Members to ensure a seamless check in experience.Ability to balance inventory three days out.Liaise with departments such as Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Events, Sales and Revenue Management regarding the distribution and status of guest rooms – i.e. managing the out of order and out of service room’s inventory by checking status on a daily basis.Overseeing the blocking of VIP and showrooms in co-ordination with Housekeeping Department.Confirming reservations and cancellations in Marsha.Use property's computer to enter and track required data into systems.
