Job Description

Located on the brink of one of the world’s greatest natural wonders, the Marriott on the Falls is a 404 guestroom full service hotel, minutes away from area attractions, world-class wineries, golf and casinos. The Marriott on the Falls also offers sumptuous dining options at its on-site Milestones Fallsview Restaurant along with 23 private function rooms and boardrooms totaling over 40,000 square feet of meeting space including our 8400 sq. ft. Oakes Grand Ballroom with an additional 2700 sq. ft. foyer. Whether our guests are traveling on business or taking a much needed vacation, our mission is to always exceed the expectations of our guests.JOB SUMMARYAt Marriott on the Falls, our operations thrive with the commitment of Associates who demonstrate/support the Marriott core values and culture of putting people first, acting with integrity, serving our world, embracing change, and pursuing excellence. We are currently seeking a Night Auditor who is positive, enthusiastic, and has a passion for excellence to join our Front Office team. This key service position is responsible for:

  • Ensuring all charges have been correctly posted.
  • Reconciling food and beverage charges; posting room charges and taxes.
  • Clearing micros.
  • Printing reports.
  • Performing close day functions.
  • File maintenance and audit cut off; checking guests in and out of hotel.
  • Responsible for answering internal and external phone calls.
  • Handling cash and credit transactions.
  • Providing accurate information to potential guests.
  • Selling and marketing our products and services; etc.
  • Adhering to all health and safety regulations and standards, and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Participates in the daily standup meetings.
  • Demonstrating appropriate Marriott service behaviours.
What we’re looking for:
  • Committed to Quality and Hospitality; demonstrated during all interactions with customers.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills when dealing with guests and employees.
  • Good mathematical skills and working knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Demonstrates professional telephone manners.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as cooperatively within a team setting.
  • Front Desk or Night Audit experience preferred.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of Marsha or PMS is beneficial.
