Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our team. This position will commence at our Niagara Falls Location.Plan attractive produce displays, using color and texture to enhance.Ensure displays are replenished, rotated, culled several times daily.Set quality standards for culling.Select items for specials; mark down items as needed to reduce losses.Assist customers with produce questions and special orders.Provide product information for customer inquiries.Provide clear, attractive, consistent signage.Trim, wash, bundle produce as needed.Set preparation and stock priorities for produce staff.Ensure the adherence to all company policies and procedures and assist in maintaining associate performance.Provide and ensure exceptional customer service, resolving customer concerns in a calm, polite and professional manner,enforce, maintain and support loss prevention policies and procedures.Responsible for ensuring product quality control.Ensure daily routine functions are performed with accuracy.Ensure that personal protective equipment is available, properly maintained and used by employees where required.Ensuring that all injuries are reported promptly for first aid/fill out accident reports accordingly.Responsible for supervising, coordinating and assigning the work responsibilities of Produce associates.Ensuring company’s policies and procedures are being met in regards to housekeeping and sweep logsEnsure proper sanitation and cleanliness of the produce department.Responsible for ensuring a safe working environment.Responsible for ordering Grocery and Produce itemsQualifications:The ideal candidate will have minimum 2 years experience in produce or related role. Minimum of 2 years experience in a Supervisory role.Strong communication, leadership, team building and interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain composure under pressure.Strong computer skillsAbility to deal with the public and project a positive image.Frequently lift and maneuver objects of varying dimensions and weights up to approximately 23kg.Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time.A good understanding of company practices.Must be able to start at 5amWage to be determined based on qualifications and experience.Accommodation will be made throughout the entire recruitment and selection process as requestedJob Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:
