Job Description

SummaryThe Sales Associates are responsible for ensuring the guests have a positive retail experience after the ride. Sales staff ensure that guest’s expectations are exceeded by consistently delivering excellent service, and by going the extra mile. In a friendly, confident and knowledgeable way, they show the guests their photos and videos, answer questions, upsell merchandise/retail and guide people efficiently through their departure at a WildPlay Park. They help guests with decision-making and conduct smooth front-desk transactions for Element and retail sales and services, all while ensuring a professional and welcoming experience.To excel as a Sales Associate, you are friendly, positive and energetic. You thrive on making people feel welcome and you use your excellent communication skills to ensure that every persons needs are met. You apply initiative to accomplish general tasks during quiet times and work cohesively with others in the pride during busy times.Responsibilities and DutiesThe Sales Associate is responsible for:

  • Consistently providing personal service that exceeds a guest’s expectations, both on the phone and face-to-face
  • Giving correct information regarding all photo/video options and packages
  • Ability to monitor and reach sales goals and targets
  • Address and welcome all guests that are not already being helped in a friendly and attentive way
  • Assisting guests in merchandise purchases, tracking inventory, and ensuring the clean and attractive appearance of the retail area
  • Ensuring the guests follow all safety protocols (i.e wearing helmets, minors wearing pinnies, etc.) in a friendly and polite manner
  • Inspecting, maintaining, and storing video equipment in a proper manner
  • Maintaining general upkeep of Park grounds and merchandise building
  • Participating in the activities of the park pride in a positive and proactive manner
Required Qualifications and SkillsThe Sales Associate must possess the following qualifications and skills:
  • Proven experience in delivering excellent customer service
  • Ability to consistently achieve high standards of work in all aspects of the role
  • Unfailing attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to meet sales goals with the team and individually
  • Ability to work well on high throughput days in a repetitive sales area
  • Good judgment, and strong decision-making skills
  • Ability to act independently and as a team player
  • Initiative and a proactive approach to general duties that improve the guest experience
  • Openness and a positive attitude to feedback
  • Physical demands include standing, sitting and occasional bending/twisting/ kneeling
Work RelationshipsReports to the Sales Lead and Park Management.Work ScheduleFlexible schedule according to the needs of the business. There may be requirements to work at multiple WildPlay Element Parks locations, as well as working both evenings, weekends, and holidays when appropriate to job responsibilities.Quick Apply
