This includes responsibility for coordinating a wide range of training, documentation, administrative and other programs. Prepares training documentation, user guides and provides assistance with entering an inventory of tools, equipment, materials and supplies into the database.QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATIONCompletion of a Two (2) year College program in Computer Science or a combination of similar education and formal training or education in Database Administration or related field is an asset.Must be willing to take additional training as prescribed by the Regulation, or deemed necessary by the employer.KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCEMinimum 3 years’ experience working in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) environment.Minimum 2 years’ experience in preparing training documentation and/or delivering training.Working Knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.Experience with document writing, control and records management is preferred.Experience preparing technical documents and/or reports is preferred.Technical writing experience is an asset.Knowledge and experience of legislative reporting requirements applicable to municipal Water & Wastewater is an asset.Knowledge of warehouse inventory management is an asset.Knowledge of maintenance equipment, parts, and tools used in the repair of Water and Wastewater or similar industry is an asset.Certification or eligibility for certification with the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technician and Technologists (OACETT) is preferred.Certification in the operation of forklift or warehouse unloading equipment is an asset.Water and/or Wastewater Operator Licenses are assets.SKILLSStrong communication (verbal and written) skills.Demonstrated organizational, time management, analytical and problem solving skills.Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.Process improvement driven with ability to identify, discuss/collaborate effectively, work with multi-disciplinary teams and implement improvement initiatives.Detail oriented.SPECIAL CONDITIONSMust maintain ability to travel in a timely manner to other offices, work locations or sites as authorized by the Corporation for business reasons.In accordance with the Corporate Criminal Record Check Policy, the position requires the incumbent to undergo a Criminal Records Check and submit a Canadian Police Clearance Certificate.Shift InformationThis position is subject to overtime.Closing StatementUncover the wonder of the Niagara Region and join a team dedicated to meeting tomorrow’s challenges TODAY!Let us know why you would be an excellent team member by submitting your online application.We thank all candidates for their interest however, only those candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.Quick Apply
