Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of a national organization that plays a meaningful role in the lives of all Canadians.Apply today!Job Details:Location: Niagara-on-the-LakeWorking Hours: 25 hour per week (variable schedule including nights, days, weekends)Scheduled Shift: Monday to SundayEmployment Contract: Permanent, Part-timeKey Responsibilities:Pick-up and delivery of customer's shipments in an effective and efficient mannerAble to cover open runs as assigned by ManagerPerform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspectionsResponsible for managing daily delivery and pick-up schedules as assignedAbility to solve problems as they arise while on roadBuild positive relationships with both our internal customers (dispatch, colleagues, managers) and external customersComply with all Corporate Policies and ProceduresWill work as both a sorter and courierWork in a safe manner at all timesMaintain punctual attendanceOther Duties as assignedProper scan and load techniquesAble to life up to 70 lbsKnowledge of scannersKey Requirements:Valid non-probationary Driver's LicenseClean Driving AbstractMust successfully pass written & road test(s)Must successfully pass Defensive Driving courseMust successfully pass Courier Methods training courseMust be available to work the AM Dock or PM DockAbility to read maps; Good sense of geographical directionCourier methods training and/or work related experienceProper scan and load techniquesAbility to lift and/or carry up to 70 lbs.Successfully complete a criminal record check and employment verification to qualifyObtain a clear Police Clearance Certificate when requiredQualifications:Strong customer service skillsStrong organizational skillsTeam playerProblem solvingProper scan and load techniquesExemplifies and consistently demonstrates our core competencies of customer focus, communication, collaboration, trust and self-developmentPOSTING DETAILSLocation: 561 - Niagara-On-The-LakeWorking Conditions: Warehouse Environment; On the Road-Purolator is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
