Under the supervision of the Customer Experience Manager, you’ll work with a team of Customer Service Representatives who strive to assist and support each other as much as they help and support our customers. Creating a positive experience for customers through email communication, live chat and phone calls is all in a day’s work, and we’re here for it! We believe in going above and beyond for our customers, in every interaction and our CSRs are known for their ‘wow’ moments.Your RoleUnder the supervision of Customer Experience Manager, your role is to champion Customer Service by creating the most positive experience through phone, email and live chat. Cheerfully help customers with any concerns by offering advice, solutions, refunds and exchanges and tend to any questions or concerns and aim to exceed customer expectations. Handle order entry as needed, report any issues impeding customer satisfaction with the website or products, process returned customer mail and undeliverable orders by postal services. Be a strong team player by participating and engaging in team meetings and performing other related duties as assignedThis role is a contract for our peak summer season as parents prep children for camp and back to school and is busy! This role can be mostly remote but will require some days and tasks to be performed in our company headquarters in Hamilton, Ontario.You’re our ideal candidate if you:

  • You are naturally an excellent, empathetic, and articulate verbal communicator.
  • Find writing clear, concise and friendly emails is second nature (and are no stranger to using emojis and exclamation points!)
  • Have a strong knowledge of computer software for word processing, productivity applications, spreadsheets, database management, emailing and online chat, and are eager to learn.
  • Thrive in environment where multitasking is common.
  • Are often on the look-out for customer service experiences in real life to learn from
  • Have top notch customer service skills and count being detail oriented and accurate among your super-powers.
  • Have a pleasant phone manner and treat customers the way you would treat a good friend or family member.
  • Enjoy working independently and also consider yourself a real, collaborative team player.
  • Can quickly assess situations and enthusiastically take initiative to provide solutions to customer inquiries in a friendly and polite manner.
  • Have previous experience within a customer service role and with performing general administrative duties.
  • Have completed Post-secondary education (preferred but not required).
Required hours: Role 1: Tuesday to Saturday, 8:30am to 5pmRole 2: Sunday to Thursday, 11:30am to 8pmOther Information:
  • Training will be provided
  • Available to work any holidays (Canada Day, Civic Holiday and Labour Day) would be an asset.
