Job Description

Company DescriptionUnder general supervision, the Distribution Associate will ensure that the responsibilities of their core function outlined below drive our overall distribution objectives related to on-time delivery, order fulfilment, customer pallet build and delivery specifications while ensuring a safe work environment in the process.Job DescriptionCore Responsibilities:

  • Pick and pack customer orders utilizing RF scanners
  • Pallet build based on customer specifications (Full pallet, Layer pallet, Mix Cases pallet, etc.), ensure “heavy to light” pallet structure
  • Ensure on-time and fill rate for customer orders, notify Lead Hand/Supervisor of any discrepancies impacting customer specifications
  • Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm shift
Daily / Monthly Operational Procedures:
  • Adhere to all safety, maintenance and housekeeping policies/procedures
  • Participate in safety meetings
  • Provide flexibility to rotational schedules as assigned by Supervisor
Qualifications
  • Forklift License - i.e. Order Picker/Bay Lifter, Reach Truck, Counter Balance an asset
  • 2-3 years related distribution experience – RF Experience is a must
  • Computer knowledge i.e. Microsoft office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Capable to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Grade 12 diploma
  • SAP experience is an asset
