Job Description

Glen Abbey is Hiring!As the Full-time Clubhouse Manager you have overall responsibility for ensuring that all Member and guest hospitality requirements are met with the highest levels of service and care. You promote and ensure a safe and healthy environment for all employees and guests. You lead and support a team of individuals so that operational and financial goals are achieved.RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee all aspects of the properties food and beverage operations.
  • Work cooperatively with other property departments to achieve operational goals.
  • Develop and implement creative strategies to increase revenues and average checks via suggestive selling techniques.
  • Inspire, train, and develop staff so that they can be the most effective.
  • Instill a guest service attitude in all employees using a "hands-on" approach to management.
  • Closely monitor guests dining experiences and ensure team members are meeting Member and guest needs and expectations.
  • Ensure revenue and profitability goals are achieved.
  • Proactively promote the property to the community and to prospective customers.
  • Work closely and cooperatively with the Executive Chef and the back of the house staff to ensure that quality, service and financial goals are met.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Demonstrated record of outstanding leadership, communication, organizational skills and fiscal responsibility
  • Excellent listening skills and creative problem solving skills
  • Strong track record maintaining consistent standards
  • Solid skills selling and negotiating programs/projects
  • Strong financial literacy skills including budgetary, projections, cost control skills and forecasting
  • Extensive knowledge of new and old world wines and spirits
  • Must have a minimum of 8 years experience in a similar capacity
