Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Project Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication skills, organizational prowess, and a positive attitude. Extensive knowledge of construction and trades is essential.Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, ensuring all aspects are covered.
  • Contract Administration: Manage contracts effectively to ensure compliance and smooth project execution.
  • Project Execution: Oversee the implementation of projects, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve project issues promptly to maintain progress.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Budget and Schedule Control: Manage changes, budgets, and schedules to ensure projects stay on track.
  • Project Estimation: Prepare accurate project estimates to inform budgeting and planning.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with sub-trades and suppliers to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Business Development: Contribute to business growth through effective project management and client relations.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the construction industry.
  • Strong business acumen in project planning and management.
  • Knowledge of the Canadian Building Code.
  • Experience with interior fit-ups, retail, and restaurant projects.
  • Excellent time management and computer skills.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and adaptability to new concepts.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Job Type:
  • Full-time
Salary:
  • $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
Schedule:
  • 8-hour shift
Experience:
  • Minimum 4 years of project management experience required.
Work Location:
  • On site
