Job Description

Role and Responsibilities(English to follow)Le rôle que nous vous proposons :

  • Fabriquer divers types de contenants et de formes protectrices.
  • Préparer, envelopper, protéger et emballer une grande variété de matériel aux spécifications d’emballage les plus exigeantes, pour fins d’expédition domestique et d’exportation ainsi que pour fins d’entreposage.
  • Prendre les mesures pour demander les contenants appropriés auprès d’autres sources.
  • Faire des travaux simples de menuiserie.
  • Enregistrer et marquer l’information appropriée.
  • Faire les choix pertinents et utiliser de façon appropriée l’outillage, l’équipement, les instruments et le matériel.
Le/la passionné(e) que nous recherchons possède :
  • Diplôme d’études secondaires (Secondaire V). Toute autre combinaison équivalente aux qualifications requises sera considérée.
  • Un minimum de 6 mois d’expérience pertinente.
  • Être familiers avec lutilisation des différents matériaux de protection, dempaquetage et demballage.
  • Connaître les procédures de travail et les normes de manutention du matériel, d’emballeur et d’entreposage en vigueur dans la Compagnie.
  • Connaître les règles de santé et de sécurité au travail, notamment le SIMDUT.
  • Une connaissance fonctionnelle du français est requise.

  • Manufacture various types of containers and protective casings.
  • Prepare, wrap, protect and pack a wide variety of materials according to the most stringent packaging requirements, for domestic and export shipment as well as for storage purposes.
  • Take measurements to request appropriate containers from other sources.
  • Perform simple carpentry work.
  • Record and label the appropriate information.
  • Make relevant choices and properly use tools, equipment, instruments and materials.
The candidate we are looking for has:
  • High School Diploma (Secondary V). Any other equivalent combination of the required qualifications will be considered.
  • A minimum of 6 months of relevant experience.
  • Be familiar with the use of various protective, wrapping and packing materials.
  • Be familiar with work procedures and material handling, packing and storage standards in effect within the Company.
  • Be familiar with occupational health and safety standards, especially WHMIS.
  • Functional knowledge of French is required.
