Job Description

What you can expect in a typical day: As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will be an integral part of our security team supporting the organization. You will provide consultative services and execute activities to deploy, operate and maintain cyber security technical controls in the protection of all aspects of our operations. Your experience will also assist in interpreting monitoring results to identify cyber security vulnerabilities and risks while identifying mitigations to enhance our organizations security posture.What we offer:

Your roles and responsibilities:
  • Strengthen and maintain enterprise wide cyber security protections
  • Manage cyber security protection and detection tools (SIEM, WAF, IPS, Endpoint)
  • Manage corporate Vulnerability Management (VM) solution to identify, investigate and address risks/ vulnerabilities
  • Participate in Cyber Incident Response
  • Conduct cyber threat and risk assessments for projects and third parties
  • Participate in and conduct threat hunting activities
  • Develop key reporting metrics for cyber security program
  • Ad-hoc reporting as required.

  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to maintain good working relationships and building buy-in from stakeholders across an organization
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience dealing with multiple priorities and deadlines / proven ability to meet hard deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with technical and non-technical users.
Travel:
  • Travel is not a requirement for this position.
Education and experience:
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in cyber security.
  • Possess cyber security certifications such as (CISSP, CEH, GSEC, GCIH)
  • Experience in cyber security technology and industry frameworks.
