Join a team that empowers you to live up to your potential so that you can feel part of something bigger and make a difference in the lives of others.The OpportunityEmployment Type: Temporary Full Time 1 FTE End Date: August 31.2021Hours of Work: 0800-1600 HRS Travel is required between Stony Plain and Rocky Mountain House.Wages: Commensurate with education and experienceReporting to the Manager, Education Services, you will support the implementation and delivery of consistent resident practice standards and guidelines throughout the service delivery process to ensure that these meet with accreditation and provincial standards. You will identify and define barriers to quality resident care and provide innovative and collaborative solutions. You will work with the Education Services team and Site Managers to plan, develop, implement, deliver and evaluate education programs to meet the needs of the sites. You will act as a resource by providing coaching, feedback and direction to staff in the delivery of care standards.You have a recognized baccalaureate degree in nursing (or equivalent) and active registration with CRNBC. A gerontology certificate and a certificate in adult and continuing education are considered assets. You have recent professional experience in the care of the elderly and experience developing and delivering staff training programs.
