Helping protect what matters most.Overview of Position:HUB International is currently looking for Human Resource Co-Op Intern to support our HR team for the with a hybrid work arrangement. The Human Resource Co-Op Intern will work independently and in teams, use MS Office skills, and provide administrative support for assigned teams and projects. Responsibilities will vary dependent on business needs and will require flexibility, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and assist.This is a great opportunity to gain valuable practical work experience and the opportunity to work with Human Resource Professionals while exploring various HR career options in insurance. Become a HUB Ambassador and join an industry leader!Key Responsibilities:Providing administrative and operational assistance to HR Team.Working with HR Business Partner to support assigned client groups in processing resignations/terminations, employee status amendment letters, liaising with various supporting teams (Benefits, Payroll, HR Associate, KRONOS) to ensure timely changes are made and queries are resolved.Ensuring relevant, missing employee documentation is uploaded on Workday system.Responding to inquiries in the shared HR email boxes, and triaging emails when necessary to relevant HR or employee support teams.Issuing letters of employment and employment verifications.Scanning employee contracts and archiving electronically.Supporting the administration of HUB’s Service awards.Assisting with various Workday (Human Capital System) tasks as required.Reviewing and validating updated internal HR templates.Assist with auditing various reports and spreadsheets as assigned.Supporting HR team on various projects, tasks and initiatives, as assigned.Qualifications and Experience:Enrolled in a College or University Program with emphasis on Human ResourceBilingual in English and French would be an asset.Ability to travel to Oakville and/or Toronto office as required.Proficient in MS Office Suite: Word, Excel (Intermediate), PowerPoint and Outlook.
