Reporting to the Recruitment Team Lead, this role will support the Niagara Region as well as Hamilton, Burlington and BrantfordResponsibilities:

  • Upload, monitor, and track postings within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Identify strategic sourcing opportunities and participate in community events such as career fairs and academic presentations
  • Review candidate resumes against active job postings and forecasted needs
  • Schedule and conduct prescreening telephone interviews with candidates
  • Schedule and conduct interviews and consult with hiring manager to attain top talent
  • Communicate with applicants throughout the recruitment process
  • Review reports and analyze data to meet targets
Qualifications:
  • Completion of post-secondary education in a Human Resources or related capacity is strongly preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a high-volume recruitment environment is required
  • Competent working knowledge of recruitment and selection, specifically working within an HRIS/ATS platform
  • Experience in strategic candidate sourcing and familiarity with a wide range of sourcing platforms
  • Experience in healthcare recruitment would be considered a strong asset
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize successfully in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
  • Superior customer service skills and strong communication skills
