Events & Partnerships roleConcord Pacific Developments Inc. is Canada’s largest master-planned community builder. Formed in 1987 to develop Concord Pacific Place on the former Expo lands in downtown Vancouver, Canada.Concord has not only transformed Concord Pacific Place but the Vancouver skyline. We have also built the second largest master-planned community, Concord CityPlace in Toronto (Concord Adex), in addition to other communities of scale across the country with expansion to London and Seattle. Concord has built over 150 towers with an additional 50 in various stages of planning and development. We are committed to a multitude of neighbourhood and city-wide community sponsorships and charities. We have strived to make art accessible to the community neighbourhoods by establishing Canada’s largest public art program.Over the past 30 years, we have also diversified into business sectors such as: software and information technology, telecommunications, and green energy projects in solar, wind and hydroelectric power generation.The Specialist, Partnerships and Events is an essential and active member of the high-performing Corporate Relations Team. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, the Specialist will help manage Concord’s various events and initiatives and maintain business and community partner relationships.The successful candidate will be a forward-thinking team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver various small to large-scale events with a focus on data management and tracking, as well as relationship building, operations, and collateral development
  • Assist with event sponsorship administration and schedule management
  • Execute Concord’s participation with partnered charities and Organizations.
  • Manage relationships with media partners and support the production of collateral
  • Work with internal and external teams and service providers such as graphic designers, printers, and agency producers to facilitate print and digital materials, ensuring quality control and brand consistency is maintained
  • Represent Concord in a professional and respectful manner when liaising with stakeholders and at committee meetings and events
  • Maintain content accuracy and update applicable department/POC
  • Collaborate with the IT Team and Website agency
  • Film production including organizing shoots and managing film set needs
  • Corporate branding representation and standards across departments, supporting managers and content creators with organized assets
  • Lead company-wide engagement activities, recognition programs, team building, learning and training sessions
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • 3+ years of experience in event coordination, marketing or communications; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to prioritize and coordinate effective, efficient, and dedicated work plans in a dynamic environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional technical skills using Microsoft Office Suite (with a focus on Outlook and Excel)
Note: Flexibility is necessary, as this position will require occasional weekend and evening work and travel mainly within Metro Vancouver, and on occasion nationally.Quick Apply
