Job Description

Head of Real Estate OperationsCompany DescriptionTrueplace, Inc is a real estate technology company, backed by top tier investors out of Silicon Valley, serving property managers and landlords. Trueplace provides a simple and fast solution for repairs, maintenance, and complete management of properties.Trueplace is hiring an Executive Consultant - Head of Real Estate Operations to oversee and develop strategic initiatives for product and service development within the residential and commercial real estate space.What you’ll be doing: As Head of Real Estate Operations, you will have two main responsibilities:

  • The lifecycle management of properties within the real estate portfolio, including hiring, developing and overseeing property management operations.
  • Track, report and optimize the performance of the portfolio.
Successful candidates will bring a passion for the real estate business and possess the leadership skills necessary to create trusting bonds, can think critically to make the right decisions and have strong organizational and planning skills.Key Responsibilities
  • Review and approve the annual business plan, leasing plan, capital programme and operating budgets for each asset
  • Monitors all leasing activity to insure maximum occupancy and income
  • Stay current with market conditions to understand the competitive position of each asset in their portfolio from a leasing and investing perspective
  • Work on the coordination of all special projects, including renovation projects and site plan approvals.
  • Drives best practices and standardization in real estate and provides construction support, in coordination with operational leadership and facilities management
  • Propose corrective action in the event that a property is in decline
  • Recommend and oversee the implementation of all capital improvement projects
  • Prepare regular updates on asset performance and financial reporting
  • Reduce/avoid expenditures when applicable
  • Prepare financial analysis to support lease recommendations
  • Prepares and sends out monthly rent statements, and keeps accounting books and records for all properties
  • Responsible for lease renewal and terminations
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate or related disciplines or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
  • 10+ years years of progressive work experience in real estate, development, acquisitions, investment analysis, and/or lending in a principal capacity
  • 10+ years experience of managing significant and complex real estate portfolios
Job Type: Fixed term contractSalary: From $100.00 per hourSchedule:
  • Monday to Friday
