Representing over 2,600 REALTORS® in Manitoba, The Manitoba Real Estate Association Inc. (MREA) is seeking a membership/operations assistant with strong administrative skills, for a minimum three-month term, to join its operations team.Reporting to the director of operations, this crucial role will assist with administrative support of the association’s membership operations, which may include answering phone calls, responding to emails, explaining the various categories and fees of membership, and entering information into the association’s member management system. Experience in managing and maintaining accuracy of information in large databases and in developing and updating policies and procedures will be an asset.The candidate will also support the membership regarding the association’s errors and omissions insurance program, with knowledge of corporate board/meeting processes and minute taking an asset.The role may also include administrative support for the associations two registered charities, Manitoba Tipi Mitawa Inc., and Manitoba REALTORS® Shelter Foundation. This may include issuing charitable tax receipts, maintaining donation records, assisting with licensing requirements for events, assisting with preparing meeting agendas/meeting packages and recording meeting minutes, and other duties as may be necessary from time-to-time.As a top candidate you will have the following skills, capabilities, and demonstrated strengths:Business:· Proficiency in Microsoft Suite· Membership or other large database management experience· Corporate meetings; coordination, creation of agendas, minute taking· Experience working with an industry association is an assetPersonal Skills:· Excellent written and verbal communication skills· Takes initiative, with a proactive mindset· Communication/collaboration/teamwork skills to work with a wide range of individuals· Client/member relations, with a customer value mindset for problem-solving, and adaptability· Sound judgement and ability to maintain confidentialityWork Standards:· Attention to detail and high quality of work· Conscientiousness and accountability· Task completion and excellent time managementMREA offers an outstanding work environment.
