Job Description

Vice President, FinancePosition Summary:Lambert Nemec Group, Winnipegs leader in Permanent Accounting & Finance Recruitment, has partnered with our client to recruit a ice President, Finance. The Vice President, Finance will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all accounting and financial-related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility for leading a team responsible for all aspects of accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, costing, due diligence, regulatory compliance, financing, and insurance. The Vice President, Finance will be an engaging leader who will develop the team as well as processes to support a rapidly expanding business achieve their goals.Responsibilities:The key responsibilities of the ice President, Finance include:

  • Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance, Accounting & Administration functions of the organization and implement operational best practices as and where required.
  • Manage processes for financial forecasting, cash flow planning, accounts receivable, budgets and reporting of the Company.
  • Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with ASPE and applicable federal, provincial and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
  • Provide Executive Management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.
  • Participate in key decisions as a member of the Executive Management team.
Requirements:The successful candidate must be a designated accountant. Our client is looking for candidates who have 10+ years of progressively responsible financial leadership roles.Compensation & Benefits:
  • Base salary $130,000 – 160,000 DOQ
  • Annual bonus based on personal and company performance
