The Fright Nights Supervisors will report to the Festival Programs Managers and will be responsible for overseeing an attraction, provide clear communication of issues to the respective team members, and carry out safety protocols as outlined by the Festival Programs Managers, and Assist management with production elements during the run of the show and supporting fellow Fright Nights supervisory team members as needed.Our ideal candidates will possess strong organizationalamp; communication skills and will have a background in production, theater, or film. What will you DO this yearHaunted Attractions Supervisor: In your role as our Haunted Attractions Supervisor, your primary accountabilities will be to:

• Assist with various operational tasks, including but not limited to crowd control, actor escorts, aiding actors with costumeamp; mask application.
• Provide a safe environment for all actorsamp; other team members.
• Provide training, coaching, and oversee the performance of all assigned actors.
• Report any deficiencies with the attraction to maintenanceamp; managerial staff.
• Report any issues with staff or guests to respective team members.
• Oversee attraction readiness through daily pre check.
• Oversee all safety proceduresamp; protocol within your attraction.
• Oversee throughput of attraction.

Haunted Attractions Relief Supervisor:

• In your role as our Haunted Attractions Relief Supervisor, your primary accountabilities will be to:
• Assist with various Fright Nights operational tasks, including but not limited to crowd control, actor escorts, aiding actors with costumeamp; mask application.
• Provide a safe environment for all actorsamp; other team members.
• Provide training, coaching, and oversee the performance of all assigned actors.
• Report any deficiencies with the attraction to maintenanceamp; managerial staff.
• Report any issues with staff or guests to respective team members.
• Oversee attraction readiness through daily pre check.
• Oversee all safety proceduresamp; protocol within your attraction.
• Oversee throughput of attraction.

Haunted Attractions Supervisor – Breaker : In your role as our Haunted Attractions Relief Supervisor, your primary accountabilities will be to:

• Assist with various Fright Nights operational tasks, including but not limited to crowd control, actor escorts, aiding actors with costumeamp; mask application.
• Relieve haunted attraction supervisors for their daily break schedule.
• Provide a safe environment for all actorsamp; other team members.
• Provide training, coaching, and oversee the performance of all assigned actors.
• Report any deficiencies with the attraction(s) to maintenanceamp; managerial staff.
• Report any issues with staff or guests to respective team members.
• Oversee attraction readiness through daily pre check.
• Oversee all safety proceduresamp; protocol within your attraction(s)
• Oversee throughput of attraction(s)

Performance Supervisor: In your role as our Performance Supervisor, your primary accountabilities will be to:

• Assist with various Fright Nights stage showamp; opening scaremonies operational tasks, including but not limited to crowd control, actoramp; performer escorts, aiding performers with costumeamp; mask application, aiding performers.
• Assist with calling of show elements.
• Provide a safe environment for all actorsamp; other team members.
• Provide training, coaching, and oversee the performance of all assigned performers.
• Report any deficiencies with the stage show and other relevant attractions to maintenanceamp; managerial staff.
• Report any issues with staff or guests to respective team members.
• Oversee stage show and scaremonies readiness through daily pre check.
• Oversee all safety proceduresamp; protocol within your assigned responsibilities.

Event Responsibilities

• Overseeing the safeamp; scary function of your assigned attraction(s).
• Assist Managementamp; supervisory team as needed.
• Escorting actors as needed.
• Checking operation of attraction on regular basis through the evening.
• Crowd control at assigned attraction as needed.
• Assist with attraction readiness prior to opening.
• Assist with safety procedures and protocols.
• Other duties as assigned.

What else

• Must have successfully completed grade 12.
• Ability to deal with confidential matters and conduct themselves in a professional demeanor
• Ability to function both independently and in a team environment
• Ability to work a variety of shifts from July - November, evenings, weekends, and late nights
• Post-secondary education or training in a relevant discipline such as Production Assistant experience within TV/Film, Theatre, or other related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is considered an asset.
• Experience within a supervisory position.
• Experience coaching actors considered and asset.
• Experience within the Halloween Industry is considered an asset.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Must be proactive with the ability to trouble shoot and remain calm in stressful situations.
• Ability to work outdoors, in various weather, and spend a large part of the workday walking, and standing
• Successful candidates must undergo a Criminal Record Check.
