The successful candidate will make an impact by working with healthcare professionals, procurement, key stakeholders, and cross functional teams. The candidate will develop value-based initiatives within the territory, implementing key platforms for various healthcare providers with a primary focus in acute, homecare and long-term care settings.Main Responsibilities:Manage a medical sales territory within the designated geographyAccountable for fiscal growth targets and budgetsMaintain and build territory sales, driving growth and developing new business opportunitiesPosition 3M as a solutions providerEducate healthcare staff (in person and virtual) on products, standards, and guidelinesWork and collaborate with 3M internal sales and marketing teamEducate customers, sell, and promote product portfolio onsite and virtuallyManage long selling cycles consisting of multiple touch pointsTo set you up for success in this role from Day 1, 3M requires (at minimum) the following qualificationsPost-secondary education (Life Sciences, Business, or related discipline preferred)2 years of CRM experience2 years of experience that demonstrate comprehension of Healthcare procurement in AlbertaAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Bachelor of Science, nursing degree preferred (NSWOC)Sales experience in wound care ICU and communityExperience with Salesforce CRMStrong self-motivation, time management, interpersonal, and communication skillsAble to understand changing customer needs with the ability to pivot accordinglyStrong selling and concept selling skillsAble to draw meaningful insights based on competitive dynamics, customer needs/behaviours, category performance, and characteristicsTravel: In this role, you will be required to travel approximately 40% of the time, which may involve overnight stays.
