Job SummarySportball invites enthusiastic, sports-oriented people to join our Coaching team. Sportball offers non-competitive sports instruction programs that introduce children as young as 16 months age to activity based programming and the skills associated with eight ball sports (soccer, hockey, football, basketball, baseball, volleyball, tennis, and golf). Applicants should ideally have participated in sports and should of course have a passion for working with children. An educational background in Kinesiology, Early Childhood Education, Recreation Management, and Physical Education is helpful but not required. Successful candidates will be scheduled to work in Airdrie and the surrounding areas on Saturday and/or Sunday mornings (9am-12pm) throughout the year and should be comfortable working with young children, including toddlers. Additional weekday shifts may be available based on coachs availability. All coaches are provided with comprehensive initial training as well as ongoing training and support in Sportball methodology and program delivery.
