Eaton #39;s Electrical sector is currently hiring a Continuous Improvement Specialist to join our team. This position is based at our Airdrie, AB facility and offers benefits from Day 1.What you #39;ll do:Working under the general direction of the Operational Excellence Manager, this position will assist in the improvement of manufacturing/business processes and the implementation of Eaton Lean Six Sigma (ELSS) tools and Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF).In this function you will:- Work with business units to implement Eaton Lean Six Sigma in conjunction with Eaton #39;s Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF)- Promote, initiate, and support the implementation or improved business and manufacturing processes- Research and offer solutions for opportunities identified either by this position or any employee on site- Facilitate improvement events with multi-functional groups and provide just-in-time training of ELSS tools and methodologies- Promote continuous improvement and lean culture within the business- Meet ongoing ELSS and CIF requirementsQualifications:Required (Basic) Qualifications:- Post-secondary degree in relevant technical discipline (Electrical/Electronics/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering, Analytics)- Minimum 3 years #39; of prior experience working continuous improvement techniques and processes, e.g., Lean Manufacturing- Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship- Intermediate knowledge of relevant software applications, e.g., MS Office Suite, MS Power Platform and Visio considered an asset- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.
