Airdrie Christian Childcare is looking to hire a part time cook from Mon-Fri from approx 8:30am-12:30pm. If additional hours are preferred, we could also add you as an on-call subsititure childcare provider.The candidate we are looking for will:-have the skill and passion to cook for approximately 56 children daily (prepare 2 snacks and lunch on a 4-week rotating menu)-have an awareness of food allergies and be able to work towards accomodating dietary needs of individuals in our care (plan is already in place)-have the skill and passion to work with children, specifically aged 1-12 years-be a flexible team player-have a minimum level 1: Child Development Assistant Certificate (or willing to obtain)-valid 1st Aid & CPR (or willing to get within first month of employment)-have a food safety certificate (or willing to obtain within the first month of employment)-clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector search (dated within the last 6 months)*Please provide a resume (with 3 references) and a coverletter stating why you would like to work as a Cook (and Childcare Provider if applicable) at Airdrie Christian Childcare.Job Type: Part-timePart-time hours: 20 per weekSalary: From $17.00 per hourBenefits:
