Job Description

Propak Systems Ltd. is an established leader in engineering, fabrication, and construction of gas compression, processing, and heavy oil facilities. By integrating comprehensive engineering services and first-in-class modular fabrication capacity with complete construction services, Propak designs and builds industry-leading hydrocarbon processing facilities for installation around the world. We engineer and build natural gas processing facilities, compression facilities, and heavy oil in-situ processing facilities. We are currently seeking a Document Controller - Technical for our Quality Control group.Key Responsibilities May Include:

  • Initiate and maintain Process Piping Data packages for each job fabricated;
  • Initiate and maintain the pressure vessel sign-on/sign-off packagers as specified in the PROPAK Quality Management System Manual;
  • Manage and distribute calibration report to the shop and inspection personnel;
  • Daily data upload and review of inspection reports from Nondestructive Testing Contractors;
  • Daily review of inspection reports for Nondestructive Testing Invoices;
  • Daily data entry and input of MTR’s into MetalTrace® System;
  • Maintenance of stationary orders and inspection equipment;
  • Ensure documents are filed correctly and controlled as per the Propak Quality Manual;
  • Review technical reports and specifications;
  • Upload documentation to Quality Control SharePoint site in a timely manner;
  • Upload drawings to the Quality Control SharePoint site and create accompanying Travelers for inspection activities;
  • Distribute repair rate reports weekly.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of post‐secondary education or experience in a technical working environment with an understanding of process piping drawings and information
  • 3‐5 years of experience working in an administrative environment
  • Completion of a high school diploma
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Ability to learn other software programs required by the department
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Must be well-organized with strong multi-tasking and time management capabilities
