Job Description

Propak Systems Ltd., an established leader in engineering, fabrication and construction of gas compression andprocessing facilities for the energy industry, is seeking a Drafting Administrator to join our Drafting Department atour Airdrie office.The Drafting Administrator requires general understanding of company operations and organization procedures.The position possesses detailed knowledge of the departments operations. Assignments require entering of partsfrom a drawing Bill of Material.Key Responsibilities:

  • Upload drawings to Shop Portal Site
  • Uploads and maintains Portal documents
  • Assists with general administrative duties for the Drafting group
  • Confers with document originators or Drafting personnel to resolve discrepancies and compile
required changes to documents
  • Provides primary administrative support to Drafting group
  • Completes data base entry of Visual Manufacturing system database
  • Conducts electronic quality checks
  • Assists with general software duties
Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary diploma in Office administration from an accredited institution
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and planning skills
  • Ability to understand verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to anticipate needs and take initiative for timely, efficient support of team projects
  • Eye for detail and attention to accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as a contributing member in a flexible team environment
  • Ability to handle occasional interruptions and adjustments to priorities throughout the day
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize within tight deadlines
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and interact professionally with all levels of staff and management
as well as external clients
  • Ability to learn appropriate software, database, and spreadsheets programs
