Your Opportunity:This is an advanced clinical position providing assessment, provisional diagnosis, treatment and follow up to a generalist addiction and mental health population, across the lifespan and their families. The Family Counselor collaborates with other health care and community service providers to ensure a continuum of addiction and mental health care in the community. At time visits may occur in the clinic, home, or community locations. Shift Pattern- Days and one evening a week.Description:As a Family Counsellor, you will provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up to clients and their families. You will also provide clinical focused consultation with other programs or community resources and acts as a liaison to develop and promote preventative health programs in the community. You will collaborate with other health care providers and community service providers to ensure a continuum of care in the community.
