We are looking for the right individual to assist our team of mechanics.The Opportunity:

  • Clean Fleet shop, maintain order and cleanliness
  • Pick up and deliveries in both shop and field
  • Assist mechanics with repair and maintenance of City vehicles and equipment
  • Requisition parts, materials, and equipment as needed
  • Other duties as required
You Bring:
  • A valid Class 5 Operators license is a requirement
  • Shop experience, Class 3 Operators license, apprenticeship training, industry related certificates and/or tickets, lube technician, small motor repair experience, etc. would be considered assets
  • Proven mechanical aptitude
  • Proficient with computers
  • Ability to find information, follow manuals and instructions and problem solve
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Eye for detail and accuracy
  • Adapt well in an ever changing environment, working best in a team atmosphere
  • Above average communication and interpersonal skills, with exemplary customer service skills
