Job Description

LocationAirdrie, Alberta, CanadaSummaryReporting to the Team Leader, Inspection, the General Laborer- Cleanline (Temporary) will beresponsible for assigned duties within the Cleanline department.DutiesAs a member of the Cleanline department you will be responsible for supporting, but not limitedto the following items:Clean-line:

  • Material Handling and Movement of Gas Turbine Engine Components.
  • Loading and Unloading of Chemical Cleaning Cages. Securing components for
protection.
  • Perform manual cleaning procedures to Gas Turbine Engine Components.
  • Ensure part is effectively identified during all processes to ensure parts are accounted for.
  • Complete general housekeeping responsibilities as defined by the area supervisor.
Overall Requirements:
  • Support the overall production demand within the departments to ensure delivery
timelines are met.
  • Communicate with the assigned supervisor to ensure tasks and assignments are
completed on time.
  • On-the-job training will be provided for all tasks by a qualified technician.
  • Monitor shop practices to ensure that the facility is always operated in a healthy, safe,
and environmentally conscience manner, per TCT policies and procedures. Take steps tocorrect any condition that violates this fundamental principle.
  • Make recommendations on policy and procedures to improve shop productivity and
profit of the company in general, and to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Increase knowledge of the HSE Policy and Manual and maintain a positive attitude
towards the health and safety of myself and my coworkers.
  • Take ownership of HSE issues and demonstrate enthusiasm and support for HSE.
  • Other duties as directed by the Team Leader, Inspection or designate(s).
