Office Assistant/ReceptionistPerfect Surfaces is a dynamic, growing specialty flooring company currently seeking a professional, energetic, highly motivated individual with a positive attitude who is eager to learn through hands-on experience. Reporting to our head office and warehouse in Airdrie, Alberta, the Office Assistant/Receptionist position must be filled by a hard-working individual with a willingness to learn.Duties & ResponsibilitiesAs the first point of contact for the company, the Office Assistant/Receptionist will be working in an office environment performing a variety of administrative tasks, reporting directly to the Office Manager. The regular hours of work will be 9:00am-3:00pm, Monday to Friday; the opportunity for full-time employment may exist for the right candidate. This part-time position is compensated hourly (starting rate dependent on qualifications and performance), and a health spending account after successful completion of the probationary period. Regular duties and responsibilities of the Office Assistant/Receptionist include:· Greeting clients in person and over the phone· Clerical duties (filing, data entry, processing sales orders)· Assisting with general sales & office operations as required· Assisting the Sales team with accounts receivable/collections· Assisting with management of online sales platforms· Accomplishing department and organization mission by completing related tasks as needed· Ensuring the office is clean and organized/light housekeepingSkills & QualificationsWe are looking for a hardworking, teachable candidate with excellent basic skills (communication, multitasking, problem solving etc.). The successful candidate will be trained in all specific office procedures and computer programs.
