Job Description

The Hotel cleaner is responsible for the orderliness and cleaning throughout all areas of the property, including public areas, guest roomsamp; storage rooms, all while living up to our Canalta Mission and VisionCanalta - Ramada AirdrieHotel CleanerKey Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Vacuum carpets, floors and upholstery
  • Clean kitchen and bathrooms
  • Ensure that hotel equipment are functional
  • Stock linen closets and other supplies #39; areas
  • Restocking cart after every shift
  • Apply the Key Service Standards with everyone you interact with (Smile, Speak, be Empowered and Entertain)
  • Provide assistance and courtesy as needed to guests and team members, reinforcing all of Canaltas policies and procedures
  • Strictly observe all guidelines established by Occupational Health and Safety, WHMIS and WCB
  • Perform other duties as may be required by the general manager
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working in a similar role in hotel and accommodations an asset
  • Must be able to perform physical tasks during a standard 8 hour shift
  • Must be available to work on various shifts (day, evening, night)
Salary: We offer a salary of $18.25/hourBonus: Potential bonus of 15% of annual salary at employers discretion.Benefits: Group insurance benefits including dental, health and vision.
